Shelley is a multi-faceted entrepreneur and passionate homeschool mum. With over 20-years experience in art, graphic design, and multimedia, Shelley discovered there was a need for comprehensive online art courses - that is when Art At Home was born!

My name is Shelley, and I am the creator of Art At Home. Thank you for stopping by to learn more about my online art courses! I am super passionate about art and design and I am looking forward to sharing my knowledge with you.

As a very young girl, I had a HUGE imagination. I used to daydream about mystical lands, glorious other-worldly creatures, and upside-down houses. Creativity, dreaming, dancing, and drawing have always been a huge part of my life.

Back In The Day...

As a very young girl, I had a HUGE imagination. I used to daydream about mystical lands, glorious other-worldly creatures, and upside-down houses. Creativity, dreaming, dancing, and drawing have always been a huge part of my life.

At the age of 8, I had an incredible teacher named, Miss Neave. She was such a positive influence when it came to my early love for Art. She was so talented. I wanted to be just like her when I grew up! This continued through high school when I was blessed to be taught by another passionate teacher named, Mr Enoka. He was a wealth of knowledge when it came to Design and Technical Drawing which further enhanced my art and design passion.

During 2020, like most people, my world got tipped upside-down. Life went from being consistent and predictable, to completely unknown. Lucky for us, my boys and I loved the craziness and we actually thrived during all the upheaval and uncertainty so, we decided to make homeschooling a permanent thing.

As a homeschool mum, I realised there was a gap in the creative arts space for homeschool.

With 20+ year experience in art, design and online learning courses, I put my skills to good use and that is when...

Art At Home was born!

I have had so much fun converting my rough template course into a work of art, worthy for the public eye. I hope you have just as much fun completing my courses! I have more underway and can't wait to share them with you.
